1970 Hemi Challenger A/SA
For Sale
Originally a R/T with a 440 4-speed now has a 426 HEMI and an automatic. Beautifully restored and built by Ray Barton's and painted by Kohr's. The car is absolutely perfect in every way. I bought the car in late 2019 after it sat for a few years so in early 2020 I started the process if freshening everything up, with a list below of what was done. Due to COVID I didn't get everything back until May 2021 and then went to the track only once and made two passes and since then I have made a total of 6 passes. I never made a full clean pass in the car with the best run in A/SA trim being a 10.23 at 127.75mph, that was with a 1.485 60' and it breaking up in the top end (had to replace the bad alternator). I bought the car to go racing with my dad but my life has changed drastically since so it's time for it to go to someone who will race this amazing piece. Below is what was brand new or freshened up since 2020 (made a total of 6 passes since) Motor rebuilt by Gregg Luneak Brand new aluminum heads New cam and lifters ATI freshened the converter Joels on Joy rebuilt the trans New Slicks and front runners New PPP shifter 2 new XS LiS1600 Lithium batteries New mini one wire alternator from East Coast New Kirkey seats with custom made seat covers to replicate the originals Restored originals come with it Below is other equipment on the car Santhuff front shocks CalTracs in the rear Ceramic bearings MSD Digital 7AL and pro billet distributor Racepak V300 with 8 O2?s Fire suppression system Mark William brakes Vented fronts and slotted with dual calipers in the rear Strange axles T/A flat black hood Also comes with the original R/T hood I have a title and the original fender tag Asking $89,000 Any questions please let me know Troy Last edited by Troy Dillow; 06-20-2024 at 03:04 PM.
