I have one in my gen 3 Camaro. Top left bell housing bolt is a little tight to get to. You might not be able to use a factory dipstick tube. I have a flexible one.

There are plenty out there Tim. I have one and LOVE it. The factory dipstick works well with my 3rd gen. ATI also makes a nice bell for the TH 200…...I have one of those as well….

The ATI bellhousing is also about $175 cheaper than the JW.

Looks like we have consensus among the SBC crowd...good news...anyone with a BBC running one?

Would prefer ATI...but it does not appear they have a BOP version...

Tim , if you are concerned about the BOP case ….I would venture to say that Leo Glassbrenner ran one on his Pontiac Firebird back in the day.

I installed several JW ones for customers, no issues. Use good bolts with hard flat washers and as long a bolt as there are threads in the case for, everything is hanging on 6 8mm bolts.

I use a JW on my 200 that I got from Leo. gen 4 firebird LS. Fits very well. No clearance issues at all.

My transmission builder preferred the factory case with bracing. He felt it was better than the way a bolt on bellhousing was designed. I haven't had any issues with it.
