“Live” from Bristol 2023!
We are here and stacked #12! It has been a beautiful day in the 70’s. We ran into a little problem with a leak while sitting in the rest area in Beckley WV last night and it pumped all our water out! So we have had to get water, propane and plumbing parts today. But my McGyver got everything going again!
Rigs have been pulling in all day including those coming from Epping! Jim and Pam Marshall got here around 6:30. Lots of Pro rigs too. We get to sit here in the rain tomorrow then get parked on Thursday! Had a good dinner tonight with Jim and Pam and Alice and Joe Tysinger at the Mad Greek! Great food and desserts! Patsy More later! I think the Boss is going to be here and East Coast Cooter too! |

Hey guys, we are here at Bristol Motor Speedway in the stacking area, at the Thunder Valley Nationals. Its raining today, but the rest of the week looks great with temps in the mid to upper 70's and no rain in the forecast. Here is my first part of the trip as we roll into Bristol...

Re: “Live” from Bristol 2023!
Ken we made that journey over the mountain back in 1983 pulling 67 super sport Nova. In brother inlaws ford truck that was fairly new. When we got back to houston, truck had about 18,000 miles on it. Transmission was fried, brakes were done, the 302 motor was done (no oil pressure), the truck was 1/2 ton with no towing package how stupid could we be back then LOL.He traded truck in as soon as we got to houston.
