I would like to see the "Gasser" rules. If someone can post a link that would be great.
Thanks Larry Woodfin |

Unless there's been a change in the system, the "Gasser" classes are merely "Super" classes with a different set of indexes. For example, the Good Guys ran "D Gas" with a 10.60 index. I believe that "C Gas" was a second quicker. Other than that, it was the same as the Super classes only you need a car that meets their criteria in terms of age and a few other limitations.

Nostalga Gassers are only allowed air shifters, no timed throttle stops or limiting devices, except for weight or a bolt under the pedal. ....You are correct that they are no break out, index classes, 7.60, 8.60 ,9.60 and 10.60. No tire or engine limitations , only model year .... Tom

Tom, Explain to me how you can run an "Index" class and not "Breakout"?
