Congrats to Iggie B. 4th Straight MASGA Championship

Well the stage was set for the final race of the MASGA season for 2007 at Atco Raceway. Rain actually could be called the series champion this year as 3 out of the 10 races were called due to the wet stuff including Saturday's race. 17 cars made the haul for the one day event and to see who would be crowned the 07 champ. Iggie B. needed to lose 1st round and Rip Shaw or Darlene Staub needed to win the race to knock off the 3x time champion. After a very tricky track and cold weather knocked out 3 racers we started the 1st round with 14 cars. After Iggie knocked off Dave Harvey Sr. in the 1st round that all but locked up the championship for him and Shaw going out 2nd round offically put the icing on the cake. Well with the championship all locked up Iggie mowed his way through the field and made it to the final to race Darlene Staub. Both cars ran 9.92 with Iggie getting the win to cap off a great day in the Boicesco camp. Photos and the up to date points will be up shortly from Atco. Once again thank you to all who came out and supported MASGA this year. We saw great racing, great car counts and once again great food by Uncle Buck. If you know Lucky and Leanne they are already working on the 2008 season so if your a Super Gas racer on the East Coast come be part of a great and growing organization.
