Default Helmet and glasses?

So as I now need my glasses on to see my gauges. I have a problem with the helmet foam interfering with my glasses. Glasses dont sit or stay in right place. Anyone else have an issue? Buy a larger helmet or cut out some foam are my only two options I see. Pain in the *** getting old.

I have a Bell helmet that has a large opening and I use glasses. My Simpson super bandit is ok as well, if your gauges are really mounted low, it can be hard to see them, especially with a neck collar. You might consider moving them if that is the case.

Just a suggestion from someone who lost a lot of $$$ once looking at gauges instead of where he should have , put in warning lights for the oil and temp, you will see them long before the gauge anyway. I used 2 temp senders to let me know if I had reached my desired temp and one for too hot.
I even advise my customers to loose the old 5" tachs in favor of digital tachs with multiple shift light settings .
much easier to see a light come on when staging instead of the tach if you launch on the converter instead of a 2 step .

I like the glasses with a straight temple instead of curved behind he ear. Much easier to deal with in the helmet

When I used to have that issue, I switched to the wire frames that gave a little more and was able to work with all those problems. I had multi-focal contacts for a while. I had to give them up because of always fabricating.

Now that I have had the cataract surgery and the yag procedure, don't need anything but sunglasses and readers. Still can't cut a light though.

I use the Bell full face helmet with the large opening. Works pretty well. Haven't had any issue with my glasses, other than the occasional fog up, using that helmet.
