Is there anyone running Calverts with SS springs? For years been told you can’t run the two together. Figured I’d ask the pros.

I ran them on my 68 GTX for a couple of years. When I put the split leaf Caltrac springs on I picked up .03-.05 in sixty foot times and got rid of my spinning issues. My car would pull the wheels about a foot then spin the rear tires about one revolution making it drop the front and sometimes keep spinning. With the Caltrac springs I started sixty footing on the rear tires. That's my experience for what it's worth.

If you’re thinking about Calverts call John and he’ll sell you exactly what you’ll need. As Dan indicated the SS Mopar springs are just too stiff. They may provide initial hook but will try to unwind too quickly.

Since SS spring rates are different from one side to the other, I can't imagine what kind of a nightmare it would be to dial in the CalTracs and shocks.

You can find folks that run the Calvert bars with the SS springs successfully but the easier path and the one with the higher probability of success would be to run the Calvert springs with the Calvert bars. At least in my opinion.
