Pro Stock : 50 Years Old this weekend

The 1970 NHRA Winternations saw the Pro Stock class run for the first time with Mr Bill Jenkins winning the first event. He beat Ronnie Sox in the final. The cars were converted SS cars. The Grumps Camaro had a 3 point roll bar,and slapper bar rear suspension.A little different from todays Pro cars.

Would love to see this turn into a photo bank of any early pro stock car/ team .

Would like to see some pics of Bob Lambecks 68 dart ,I believe it raced at the 1970 Winternationals first pro stock event .
