Default Adding weight to a 4 link G body?

I built this car like my old Super Stock Monte aftermarket 4 link with the exception of mini tube and using 12x30 tire. My question is I need to add weight and I know on top of the rear end is a great place, but wanting to know adding weight on frame where 4 link would intersect would be a great place. I'm looking to add 150lb at floor behind drivers seating and my thought was 4 link would work rear tires harder and plant them better knowing it had the weight at the intersection of 4 link. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Jeff

Thanks Jim. I had someone private message me the same location but try to go higher such as rear roll cage down bars. Now to come up with 150lb and secure as I only have 60lb of lead.

If you mount a weight box (Moroso - Competition eng) to the hold downs (or a flat steel plate) you can add pieces of steel, wrenches, etc to the box - in addition to the lead.

Keep weight below the top of the wheelwells (per the rules) Weight ahead of the rear axle will add some static weight to the front end , but could add some dynamic weight during the launch .

Thanks for reminding me about height at wheel wells per rules.

Can the weight box be secured by a thick "sandwich" plate under the car or does it have to be welded to a structural member of the car ????
