Which block is best for the 350 Chevy Stocker? I have an 010 block filled with the lifter bores bushed at my disposal but had a bronze bushing push out and wreck a block. Is this a common problem? Should I go with a Dart Little M Sportsman? Is there a better option? Thanks.

Aftermarket block will be much better than the stock block. Heavier though.

Just had Carl Hinkson prep a Dart SBC for me and I couldn't be happier. The extreme detail and price including shipping from back east to AZ was the lowest around. I would never go stock block again for medium to high HP racing.

Its hard to believe a Bowtie block is not an accepted product , must be an oversite . How many Stock and Super Stockers are already running them , are they all illegal now ? Hard to believe !

I did the Little M with steel caps. Billet caps were not needed even with 300HP of nitrous

Depends on your power level the Dart SHP block is light yeas over a OEM block when it comes to lifter bore placement and cylinder placement and strength. Not as heavy as a Dart Little-M of a Bowtie block. |
