Midwest Class Racers with the help of Watertown Ford Chrysler will be holding our 3rd annual Race For Wishes race at Thunder Valley Dragways ( Marion SD ) Sept 17-18. MRC will announce the payout next week - Please put this race on your schedule. This race will be the Best Payout MRC has ever had! This is a great race to support Make A Wish children ( we raised $7500 in entrees and donations last year to help a 4 year old boy and his family go to Disney ) Again do not miss this great race!

Is Marion a altitude adjusted track? If so what is the factor? Guessing close to Kearney.
Is Marion a NHRA track? Have not been there since 1983.

Special thanks goes out to Bob Sherwood & his company Metro Const. for providing equipment and man power to help TVD. Again put this great race on your schedule. What is the schedule for next weekend at thunder valley? Are we going to have a potluck on sat nite?

Charlie thanks for asking. we do not have the exact schedule yet (TVD will put that out latter this week) but as the Sat race is a evening race there will be no time for a Pot Luck. MCR is slated for 2 TT Sat followed by the Make A Wish parade (Make A Wish has invited more children so we hope to have a child in every car) then first round. On the subject of food MCR is proud to have The Thundering Heard Café (café at TVD) as a marketing partner they are helping provide meals for the Make A Wish children while they are at TVD - they also have a great menu for all hungry racers.
