Default Frontend??? for stockers

I got a 69 Camaro that I'm planning on putting in stock with a 396 combo. What kind of ball joints and bushings would I go with that would handle a 396 and wheelstands? Please let me know of the good stuff. Phone numbers or websites would help also.
Thanks guys

Smile Frontend??? for stockers

Hey Mike,,, Hopefully you'll get a lot of responses on this. I'm not sure what you'll need for ball joints, but I know it seems about 50/50 on the Del-Alum bushings. Some of the guys with the higher HP cars think they work too good and let the front end lift too quickly.
Maybe Mr. Fletcher, Mr. Biondo, Mr. Koppien and some other big block Camaro racers can shed some light on this for you. Good luck.

Smile 69 Camaro

Kenny is the one to talk to and have him set you up. Not sure you need to do "big wheel stands", wasted energy. Kenny can make your car hook with "baby wheeel stands".

Wink Wheelstands

Ed, not sure I disagree with you either, I do believe a car, any car hooks well if they are on the top of the tire, especially high HP cars. That said, I also think if you could hook and have the car go straight out it would be faster. Over the years some of the heads up races with wheel stands were awesome to watch but the winner was not always the guy with the hugh wheelstand. Probably came down to HP but they also went straight out like a rocket. Trying to achieve all that is the hard part (HP & going straight). My car is not the fastest A/SA, not even close but I would compare time slips for consistency whithout doing a "big wheel stand". Great discussion on the converter idea, I would like to hear more, maybe I need to loosen the front at a test session to see if it is faster. Good points...

Meile and Parker fly both is wheelstands and ET so you may be correct.

Richard Doane. 1-937-279-1187. He'll get your front end straightened out.
