94 mustang gt
Anyone have any insight into this combo for stock. Its for a friend who is interested in building one, is it a feasible combo and how expensive to build a decent motor? Appears to me to fall in O but I haven't seen any so that's not a good sign.

Re: 94 mustang gt
There is at least 2 members here that run that combo.
It is basically a Fox Mustang 5.0 combo but with a slightly heavier shipping weight so the 94-95 can also fit into the P class. So all the mods for 87-93 Mustangs with the 5.0 would apply. (same cam, heads, shortblock, etc if I recall correctly) Might need to go to an aftermarket ECU, or use a plug-n-play system like a TWeecer that plugs into the factory wiring harness. I am thinking of moving my 95 Mustang 5.0 Pure Stocker up to NHRA Stock with a trans change, a cam change and a spooled rear end as well as an approved EFI system on NHRA's approved product list.

I don't see the Tweecer on the list. For some reason I thought the Tweecer was allowed.

Re: 94 mustang gt
With the TWeecer system, you are retaining the OEM computer and not replacing.
The list is for systems that replaces the OEM computer. |

Re: 94 mustang gt
A Tweecer adjusts the OEM computers parameters. Have used one for years. They work fair, the less you have it do, the better it functions. Holds up to 4 different tunes. Great for switching between pump gas and the high dollar legal stuff.

That makes more sense to me. And I also forgot Charlie (7423) was using the Tweecer.

Re: 94 mustang gt
That Combo should run -.500 with no problem, the upper intake is restrictive compared to 93 upper intake IMO. The body style is not very appealing to most Mustang enthusiasts IMO, fox bodies have a ton of R&D.

Re: 94 mustang gt
Alicia Anderson, Rusty Johnson's (much) better half runs this combo. Her car was Jeff Interlicchia's old car. I have driven the car and it is a fun ride. There is plenty of potential, it is pretty easy to work on and parts are plentiful.
Rusty monitors this site and you could send him a PM if you had questions about it. Personally, I far prefer the '94-'98 Mustang body style to either the Fox or the '99-'04 models. Take a close look at Nick Morris's SSGT car sometime if you want a beautiful example of that body style. I particularly dislike the '99-'04 and I think they are the ugliest Mustang since the '71-'73, one of which I own and used to race . I also have an 85.5 Fox SVO which a lot of people also consider an ugly car, although they are full of crap. http://www.cars.com/go/advice/Story....=&aff=national
