New to the forum
Hello. I am new hear and was referred by a Super Stock racer in Canada. I don't know if he is a member her but I will try to find out. I own a 55 Chevy, more along the gasser type car but am a huge fan of Nostalgia Stock and Super Stock Tri Five Chevy's for the amazing power made with 265's and 283's. This has inspired me to build a 265 instead of my run of the mill 350. I don't know if I should post my questions here or in the NS/SA area because I want to follow the rules ! I have some 265 questions, so just let me know where the best place is to ask. The 55 in my avatar has been built with parts from my dads car in high school. I still have the original 265 he took out in 1960 sitting in my garage. I have also just purchased a 56 '991 short block. Thanks for letting me join !

Re: New to the forum
Cool ! Are you hooked up at UMTR ? You maybe overestimating the reliability and underestimating the cost of a 265 . Didn't I see you at the Beanfield road up against Milner ? ---Trevor

Re: New to the forum
I was the guy holding the cowboy hat ! I will have to check out the UMTR. I have most of the parts for the engine and I am trying to build a strong 13 second car. Something than runs good and I am able to drive to the track.
