Default Foxbody headers

Just curious what others are using. My hedmans that were the trick header when Evan Smith built the MMFF project stocker, have developed several cracks. I am looking at headman # 85617 that are a stepped header. The Kooks headers just seem to have too big of a primary tube from what I am seeing.

Thanks
Sean

I have been using the Pacesetters they fit well in the chassis. I cut the collector off and used merge collector from performance welding.

I have 1 5/8" FlowTech long tubes on my Mustang. I can`t say how they compare to anything else, since they are the only set I`ve tried to date. They are reasonably priced, clear the scattershield fine, and they won`t need collector tethers!

out of the box you can't beat the flowtechs for fit and performance we stock and sell a lot of them
we replaced them on Beth's car with a set of the headman step headers and saw virtually no improvement untill we installed mark' lelchock's collectors on them so ANY 5.0 stocker we build from scratch gets them and i would build another one if IHRA would ever get there act together and straighten out how about a minus 2.00 second under pure stocker? Fast and consistent so even a cripple like me could drive it and go rounds after qualifying #1

With a stocker we've always been told to stay with th 1-5/8 tube all the way down... If you guys were going to try and run one of these things in SS and run it to 8000 plus what size trubes and would you get a stepped header??
