Trans options
Which trans is preferred for a low rpm/high torque stocker, 5000-6200 rpm operating range. I believe my best options would be either a Protrans, a good properly built Metric 200, or a Coan Turbo 350 XLT.

If you have the cash go with the protrans, gear ratio choices are abundant.

Scott call Jack S. in PA. about metric 200's . I run a coan xlt no failures 3yrs , many gears sets great people and products and they pay for wins and runner ups .

Ken,
If you were to do it over again which would you go with? A good metric 200 and a Coan XLT are roughly around the same price I believe. Thanks for your reply. Scott |
