Default Marrakesh Express 56 Stocker

Anyone have a photo of the Marrakesh Express 56 Chevy Jr/Stocker? Trying to help a fellow I.D. a rusty 56 that he found. Only info is 1965 Nationals Class Winner on the roof sides. The Marrakesh 56 is only a guess. Thanks. Tom,

O-K, according to Dick Butler It's not the Marrakesh car. I guess the only thing to go on is the 1965 Nationals Class Winner lettering.

Your 1963 Ford avatar.
Was that the same car in Wild World Of Sports back in 63 or 64?
John Conamakie(sp) was the announcer.

Chris Economaki may be the announcer that you mention.

Photos of the 56 on H.A.M.B. might be the "Music Maker" which was campaigned by Marlin Snyder of Speedway Indiana. I believe he did win class at the Nationals in Detroit in the 60s. He tried several other body styles. A 150 4 dr was also run for a while. Then an early green vette. He went to S/G. I have not spoken to him in years as I havent been actively racing.
Marrakesh Express name was used by some brothers from near Lawrenceburg indiana.
They raced a 56 2 dr wagon. They then traded me a 69 Camaro for my 56 wagon.( They failed to pay me my cash difference).
