Default Oil Filters?

Can different oil filters change oil pressure? I've been using Mobil One 10 W 30 all along
I've been running regular Neon oil filters (napa gold). Someone gave me a case of Mopar perfomance V 10 Viper oil filters. (Yes they fit fine).
The neon filter is tiny holds less than a pint. The Viper filter is normal car sized.
I've noticed a drop in oil pressure with the motor hot. Changed oil pumps and rod bearings. Started it up today and it still seems low for the motor temp.
I'm probably going to go out tomorrow and buy a neon filter to see if it makes a difference.
I'm also going to change to Valvoline racing oil 10 w 30 (after I try the little filter)
I'm just wondering if the Viper filter is filtering the oil better. Thus lowering the pressure at an idle. I still have plenty, but I just don't like the drop without knowing why it dropped.
I know that some of the filters come with paper elements. But I doubt Mopar Performance would be using them.

Art, yes a filter can affect oil pressure. The differance's in the filtering elements can either cause more or less of a restriction and in turn drop or raise oil pressure. I have seen over 10 psi change from differant filters
