To All:
I'm out here doing my winter/spring maintenance on my stocker/SS and just as any stocker racer does, I look at any place I can reduce drag. I've used thin WB grease for years, but there are certainly less drag alternatives for lubing your front wheel bearings. I've heard of lubing front bearing with everything from just plain ole engine oil, trans fluid, gear lube...... or switching to ball bearings, or even the high buck ceramics. What do you guys have luck lubing your ole regular tapered front bearings with? Don't want to burn up a bearing , but WB grease sure drags more than I like! Thanks! |
