I'm ready to install my ATI TH350 in a 92 Camaro and was looking for some input as for what flexplate andTransmission shield fits in the factory tunnel.
Thanks for any help! B. Hoffman

Get the CSR "carbon fiber" type all-in-one "form fitting" shield. It leaves the most possible room in the tunnel. I strongly suggest a Lokar locking type stainless braided filler tube and gauge. If the oil cooler circuit on the transmission is not "looped" on the inside, I also suggest short lines extending from the fittings on the case out past the shield, to allow you to quickly and easily disconnect the cooler lines. Access to the filler tube and cooler line area is always seriously restricted by a shield.

I have the TCI flex plate shield that goes inside the bell housing area. The smaller flex plate is required. The dowel pin bosses inside need relieved to clear the shield. Takes up no room outside.
I also use the Locar locking dip stick & tube.
