Stock pcm for me. I'm probably the only one with this setup. Fast and Bigstuff are very popular.Depending on what you are doing, there is really no advantage to the aftermarket ones. They are just easier to work with and tune.

The factory boxes are just as easy as the after market stuff.

I can't imanine that you can get the same kind of fuel and spark control and logging and data out on a stock ecu that you can get our of something llike the FAST system.
But if $ is an issue, run stock until you decide you need more control or more data out. Then when you need more than your stock setup gives you, look around at what the faster cars in your class are running, and go for that. My Opinion. I never ran a stock ECU in Class, Your mileage may vary. David The New Hemi Guy |

I use the SDS (Simple Digital Systems) for my EFI. It really is simple. It is on the NHRA approved list. It is used also for light aircraft due to it's reliability. I know of a guy that tried to use the stock ECU and had major issues with head gaskets popping. You can do it with a stock ECU, but I think it is much easier to tune with the aftermarket ECU's.
