Re: Open Trailer w/tool box
If you find a nice trailer that's HD and long enough to accomodate a tool box, I found that steel, powdercoated, construction site tool/storage boxes work well as an add-on. Our local Home Depot stocks 4' widths, but 6' widths are available. Only drawback is that everything goes in from the top. I believe they are typically 2' high and 2' deep.

Re: Open Trailer w/tool box
My neighbors bought a sleeper off a semi on Craigslist and bolted it to the front of their open trailer. Plenty of room/storage. Just a thought...

Re: Open Trailer w/tool box
Woodro,
Give Brian @ bwisetrailers.com a call. He is the Bri in Brimar. He started and sold that company a while back and now has a custom trailer shop in Chambersburg, Pa. He just built me a custom 23' open trailer. They make all their parts in house and i am sure he can design, quote and build anything you want. Their #717 261 0922. I have been a trailer guy my whole life and i was blown away by the quality of this trailer. Hope this helps, Mike Gardner Last edited by Mike Gardner; 06-15-2012 at 08:08 AM. |
