The guys who are not spending a large amount of money are running a McLeod Soft-Lock. We ran one a couple of years back, it was easily adjusted and trouble free, not to mention pretty forgiving.

Advanced Clutches has more S/SS cars with the records and probably rounds (not taking into account the McLeod unit has been around longer). The Advanced 10" Sportsman Clutch unit is cheaper that the 10.5" Soft-Lok according to McLeods website and Advanced provides full consultation services which is priceless in my book.

Note: I am not advertising or affiliated with Advanced. I have run both McLeod & Advanced and am speaking from experience while adding to the conversation.
