Some of the military snipers use the Kestrel hand held stuff. Weather is life and death for them, it's just win or lose for us.

our performaire went missing about a year ago. replaced it with the kestrel and love it. much more convenient to carry and you can set it up to automatically log ever 2 mins. Just match it up with the timeslip and you know exactly what the weather was when you made the pass

We use one also. Had a Permaire borrowed to see if I liked it. The Kestrel was damn near dead nuts the same as the Performaire. Made all of my earlier data still relevant too......
