My drum of c-11 that I bought in 2008 is almost empty so I called to get another, I was qouted almost double of what I paid for the last one. What are you guy's paying for a 54 gallon drum? Is there a better choice both HP and cost wise for my 8.0 compression stocker? When is NHRA going to realize we need a pump gas option?

Our option will be granted as soon as the major oil company's want to sponsor NHRA!

You should look into Sunoco purple, it's about half of C-11. I paid $6.99 at a pump and took it to fuel check it passed with no problem.

Page 68 and 69 of the NHRA Accepted Products List has all of the racing fuels listed. Sunoco Standard (purple) is there, along with VP C-11. Of course you'd have to bring your own drum!
