I have an opportunity to buy a Turbo 350 with a Hipster trans brake.. The transmision was built by a good tranny guy known for good work.. Most people seem to be running a TCI brake so I'm looking for feedback on the Hipster brake good and bad.. Thanks in advance

WARNING---hipster is known for putting ALUMINUM valve bodys in a lot of his transmissions--the alum bodys are junk-- make sure yours does not have it or you will have to figure the cost of replacing with a new body in your purchase price. His trans brakes might be as good as others not sure of that--Comp 387

I have heard a lot of negative comments here on the Hipster aluminum valve body and brake. My experience... I ran one in a powerglide big block car for over 3 years and experienced no problems.
