Default epoxy for use near gasoline

Gasoline proof epoxy

Racers,

What brand/type epoxy is suitable for use in the carburetor air horn and booster area? Specifically to form a radius near those areas. Not that the material will be submerged in gas, but some contact from gas will happen in that area.

Thanks

JB Weld would be my choice. Look at their website they say their product is good for fuel cans and fuel tanks so I think it will be OK for your application. Once that stuff cures it is as hard as the sidewalk. It also can be drilled or machined. Drawback is it takes 24 hours to cure properly.

To be on the safe side, try a trial area on the materials you are going to epoxy to make sure it is compatable.
