Question Brad Penn Oil

My son works at a machine shop that is a warehouse distributor for Brad Penn oil. What are your thoughts on this oil? What is a good price for it and do any of you use it in your Stocker or Super Stockers? Jim

My racing partner and I changed to Brad Penn almost two years ago and are quite satisfied. We used to change oil after every event but no longer. We change oil after 30 passes. We do look at the filter after every event as well look at the oil pan plug which is magnetic. We both use methanol. When we pull the plug we get no more than 1/4 cup of water then pure Brad Penn oil. At that point we put the plug back in and check the dip stick. We both use 20W50 which is a semi synthetic lubricant. We pay about $62.00 for a case in Southern California.

It is good oil if you want a dinosaur oil. And there is nothing wrong with dinosaur oil. We use synthetic, either Joe Gibbs or Royal Purple, but the Brad Penn is good oil, it is the old original green Kendall. Not sure what the going price is.

I've been running the CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oil, 0w30 synthetic... full time, both class and bracket racing. Not only is it 2000PPM zinc, but I stumbled on an interesting "side effect"... the car has been deadly consistent even in the late rounds when we start hot-lapping. Won three straight 7-round races at Pageland Dragway. On performance, it doesn't appear to have any "break in" period... seems like the first run is as fast as the 20th. You can get it right off their website and get it drop-shipped to you.
