Mike according to my cassification book in IHRA it is only 230 hp. We do not factor ours just because NHRA does . Most of the time if a combo goes fast over here is when it is looked at and changed. This is all 66 283 SS combos.I have my class books with me at home if you have any ?'s call me , I can try to help you if i can .Hope this helps!!! DW out !!!!!!

Sorry about that. When I had to buy another engine to run in my car last year I was told(at a IHRA Divisional) it was the same as NHRA. That's why I went 327. IHRA has my combo factored less than NHRA. When I called IHRA about the factoring of my combo this year they said call NHRA we go off what they have.
