Hey guys I am building a new car, and need to know about the rule for sealing off the trunk area. If I run a moroso sealed battery box, and vent it outside the trunk area, do I also have to run the steel or aluminum plate between the trunk and rear seat, or is just the sealed box legal?
thanks, Kirk |

Are you planning on using a fuel cell? If so, you will need to seal off the trunk from the driver area.

The rules state that if you RELOCATE the battery to the trunk, you need a cut off switch. What if the battery originally came in the trunk from the factory? Can NHRA require adding the cabling and switch to a STOCK setup?
