Good job Mike! Stayed cool in his first final.
You should have seen Lisa running around filming Mike at the scales and the kids jumping for joy! ..........then we had to help him fill out his contingency sheet! lol "NEVER GIVE UP"...........reminds me of the cartoon of the frog choking the stork while the stork is trying to swallow him! Congratulations.

Re: Congrats to my brother Mike Bolton on his first win!!
Congratulations to Mike Bolton from the Ridings. He was my qualifying partner several times at Jackson. The whole family is truly nice, and its wonderful to have a first time winner. I've been told the 2nd win comes easier. He was the only one to stop the train this weekend "Locomotion".

Re: Congrats to my brother Mike Bolton on his first win!!
I didn't know that Mike had not won a race but wish I would have. I did enjoy watching his car as I really can't remember seeing another first generation Barracuda.
I'm a bit disappointed with all you Mopar guys. Considering how gung ho the group usually is, I'm amazed that none of you have pointed out that of the six cars in a Stock final over the weekend, 5 were Mopars leaving only a lonely Chevy on Friday. Just kidding about the disappointment, but I'm serious when I say that I really enjoyed watching some very good racing. Plus, I also got to watch one of my all time favorite stockers, the absolutely unique Grey Ghost. |
