Default Header Coatings

Does anyone have a recommendation for a company to coat a set of headers? Is there any difference with longevity or performance from one company to another?

Thanks

None better IMO and I've used them all over the past 3 decades and most are no longer in business.

I called today and talked to Gene at Central Coatings and I was impressed with the conversation we had concerning my header plating.

I will be sending my headers off to him soon for plating.

Todd had mine done there wanted satin black. They said that the tubes would be coated silver then painted black with VHT. Tubes are silver inside black outside any scratches show silver.

M&R in Kodak, TN. They did mine years ago in silver and they still look great. I believe they also do black.

I have tried a few header coatings and all will fail, stainless is the way to go for longevity ,, "but !" the ceramic coating will keep the exhaust heat in the header tube by a bunch and is will keep the under hood temp down,, gmonde
