Super Stock Roller Lifters
Hi All,
Asking for more information and/or insight into the various types of roller lifters for a SBC super stock motor that turns up to 9K RPM. I know there are needle bearings, bronze bushed, and DLC bushed. What are the pro's and con's for these lifters? Obviously I am aware that needle lifters can come apart, what about the various bushed ones? Any reason why to run a specific lifter type over the other? Thanks, Avery

Had a reputable s/s engine builder
that he did not like the bronze bushing if your going to run lite weight oil when you need to go fast. |

Personally have not noticed much lifetime difference between bearing and bushed, when either one fails you still have the same collateral damage inside. I have not used the DLC bushed ones.
