Grade Points
Realistically I know it can vary but what is a good number of grade points to have to actually have a decent shot at getting into a notional even? Say Houston, Dallas, Gators

5,6 and 7 in order you asked, one less for index classes. Gators sometimes takes 8 .....

6 in SC and SG is usually safe.. you have to remember that the lower the number, the longer you have to wait to be eligible to enter.. by the time they get to 4, the class will probably be full.. I'm usually at 7, and still bite my nails... LOL!!
