Male sure you keep the heater controls in place, they get upset when those are missing.
Also be sure to anchor the drivers seat back to the roll bar , if your car has one . If your budget can stand the extra $200 bucks ,I'd go with an aluminum seat . Weight is usually just about the same as the poly seat and much stronger and safer , in my opinion.

If I get aluminum seats do I need a cover or can I run a bare aluminum seat? Im not worried about comfort... Im not racing for 500 miles.. I just think the covers they make for the aluminum kirkey or Jaz seats are extremely ugly.....

Is this still the Torino 500? Is the front seat bucket or the full bench seat? When I took the stock seats out of my 68 Mustang I had to remove a seat platform to get my Kirkey seats (tried Jegs molded first) to fit with helmet clearance. Wound up fabricating a tubular seat bracket to meet NHRA regs, but I built for SS, not Stock. Pull the seat out and take some measurements to see what you have to work with. The back of a Kirkey is above the top of my helmet. It's a 36 seat and I'm around 5-10 in racing trim.
