If it is the same as a 1970 Nova, as I think it is, then the LS6 oil pan was the biggest factory pan we could find to clear the steering. Even then, you might need to do a little "clearance" work with a hammer at the front corners to ease the closest points on each front edge. Of course, there are many non OEM pans to choose from, I'm assuming you want a GM pan that will be as large as possible to fit your Nova. As I recall, mine was about $125. from Sallee Chevrolet in Oregon a few years back. We had factory manual steering, not sure if power steering linkage would alter the clearance...
