Moser engineering axles, spool, hardware
I am a long-time, satisfied user of Strange Engineering products, but for this build-up on my Chevy Colorado, I am considering Moser. It is a Chevy 12 bolt, and I will need axles, spool, brakes, and other hardware.
Tell me about your experience with Moser products.

Re: Moser engineering axles, spool, hardware
I have their axles in my car since I built it in 1996 they still pay me contingency. I asked them if they wanted me to buy another set. Nope all good!!! I go 10.90@155-158 2800#s. I run almost every weekend. So the axles have thousands of runs! I would buy anything they offer. Oh yeah and they are only 35 spline too.
They also sponsor the moser shootout and used to help with special races In IHRA too.

Re: Moser engineering axles, spool, hardware
When I started building my 85 Mustang Stocker, I went with a pair of Moser 31 spline axles, simply because I found a new pair in the local classifieds for $150., in the box. I added a Moser spool, C Clip eliminators, and a girdle cover. Also welded the tubes to the center casting. This was a 4 speed car, weighed 3090 for M, 3185 for N, ran the car in Stock for 10 years, then 3 years with a low 10 second bracket engine (still with the 4 speed), I broke a couple of ring and pinions, but never hurt the axles. Not as pretty as the Strange stuff in my other car, but the Mosers were great, especially for the price.

Re: Moser engineering axles, spool, hardware
We run primarily Moser stuff in most of our dozen racers over
the years and have encountered Zero issues for 20+ years!

Re: Moser engineering axles, spool, hardware
I have Moser axles and spool in an 8 3/4 Mopar diff, been in there since '97, many passes, 4 ring and pinions, but the Moser stuff still perfect.
