Buckeye S/SS @ Dragway 42 Double
The season is fast closing in on the end of the year but we have a great weekend of racing coming up at Dragway 42 on Sept 10th & 11th. Two separate days of racing paying $2000 to win each day.
Saturday, Sept 10th gates open at 7:30 am. We should get our first qualifier at around 10:00 -10:30. Q2 should be around 12:00 -12:30 and first round will be mid afternoon around 2:30. These times, as you know , are subject to change depending on how the day goes. Sunday Sept 11th will be pretty much a mirror of Saturday. Our first qualfier will be our Dial For Dolars sponsored by Mid Ohio Paving. Make sure you have a dial in on your car for Q1 for a chance to win $100. BK Beverage will again provide the #1 qualifier (based off of reaction time) a $50 Marathon Gas Card courtesy of the Melhorn Family in memory of Kevin Melhorn. The first racer in eliminations to win the round running Dead on Zero will make $100 sponsored by Columbus Joint & Clutch. The KB Trailer Bounty Hunter money will go to the racer that , at the Saturday race , that defeats Corey Griffith. If Corey wins the race he will make an additional $100. Bruce Parsons of Parsons & Myers Racing Engines sponsors the Best First Round Losing Package with $100. For this race, PK Race N Rods will sponsor the Best First Round Winning Package each day for $100 The events will payout $2000 to win each day and runner up will receive $500. These payouts include the Mid Ohio Paving Bonus and the Semi Finalists will receive $100 each plus round money. round money will pay $50 per round beginning with round 2 winners. Entry fees for each day are $25 gate fee (pay at the gate) and then you will come to our trailer for the tech card for $100. Total entry fees will be $125 each day. There are 14 racers that have run all of our events . Those racers are eligible for the Eastland Crane Super Supporters Bonus. Sunday the racer that goes the furthest in eliminations will be awarded $700. Second furthest will get $300, 3rd furthest will get $100. Ties will be broken by Best Package. This is Bob Marshall's way of supporting the dedicated racers that have committed to racing the Buckeye Stock/SuperStock Drag Racing Series. Remember that you still can get in on the Championship Runoff by a win or runner up either day. A win or runner up qualifies you for the Championship event to be held at National Trail Raceway on October 1st.
