Default 7 second Mustang SS'er

Andrew called me today and told me he saw a video, shot today of Tasca's SS Mustang that went 8.06 at 170 something. 7's are not far away.

John Gallina went in the 7 second zone ten years ago with a SS car and it only had 6 holes . Old news Greg.

John Gallina's Buick GNX (SS/DX) was not a traditional Super Stock car. It was an MX modified car. Hardly a valid comparison.

Looks like he leaves low enough to let the engine bog and just drives it out........

I wonder what the ET would be if he got the suspension & clutch working good enough to leave with some power at 7000 RPM???????????????????????????????????????

Pretty fast SS car.......

Come on Kev.. You are not going to dispute the reality of the video now, are you?

I noticed he didn't pull the chute and he went through top end on the rev limiter.
