Metric 200 sprag
Is there a preferred brand or style of low roller clutch (sprag) for the Metric 200's?
Thanks! -Al

I try to change them every season, or whenever I get the trans back. All that stuff is getting hard to come by from the jobbers. I tried to buy a sprag for a 125-C this morning at Transtar..No longer available. Let us know what you find and I'll take a few.

Re: Metric 200 sprag
It is getting tough to find new hard parts for the older trans,it's good to have some cores around.I don't think there is anything available other than stock, unless McClay adapts a better/stronger sprag in his SS/Comp transmissions. They usually break/roll on the burnout when you shift.I do mine in 2nd gear only, and haven't had any issues. You can try Leo at Remac trans.on the west coast,to see what he recommends. gsa612
