Yesterday I had the pleasure of witnessing a state hwy patrol officer changing a tire for an elderly lady in 100 degree temp. out on the interstate. He could have easily opted for ticketing all the race rigs traveling that road. He has my respect. And judging by that action he is following the right path. Most are just pigs out for a quick buck and an ego trip. Don't care who it offends as I have first hand experience as to the crooked tactics. Both in and out of court. Respect is earned not demanded by a uniform or a title. Keep on kissing ***** and this country will keep on going downhill in every aspect.
Also, I have a sign in my office that reads: I don't call 911 |

Idiot.....Most states have a 60-65 ft length limlt. If you dont like the length limits then get the laws changed or quit crying. Why does someone drive a rig over 80 Ft and expect the law to look the other way?? Its just turned into a "see who has a bigger one" contest. Its one reason why theres no room at these older race tracks that never envisioned the racers bringing thier whole house and garage with them to the races.

Law enforcement doesn't have that option. When they get called they just go,like fire dept and EMS employees. I'm glad you're just a guy hiding behind a cute name and not someone who's job is to stand between normal people and the lowlife cretins walking the streets.I'm sure you'll get the bad guys with your S&W 8 1/2" barrel Model 29.Dream on,using deadly force isn't what you see on tv and the movies.

Yeah, who would want to race like they did in the stone ages? We're entitled to do more, with more, with no regard to the consequences...
Every penny of the car, truck, and trailer is paid for. Gets good mileage, can park anywhere, no hassles, etc., so I can afford to race. I had more than one guy come up to me at Michigan this weekend, surprised that I didn't have a huge rig, since they "see me in all the magazines". They expressed their appreciation for doing it the way I do. ![]()

Micheal great to see you enjoying racing how it was meant to be. In 1995 I remember seeing Chuck Rayburn at Maplegrove running the Keystone National(I think it was the year he won the Championship in Stock eliminator) with his Blue F250 Ford with a diesel he installed himself(great engine swap) and open trailer sleeping in the truck. It can be done but as we get older we miss the comfort of home, probably why we drag our house to the track.lol One of the reasons I love my Suburban so much was that we could sleep in it with mosquito netting around the windows.lol CR

Actually Ed I see you are a "gun guy" yourself. I use the Mod. 29 pre lock for shooting 100 yd. plate matches. If you rely on someone else for your saftey I would hate to take that chance unless I was the type that couldn't take up for myself. Don't beat up on me because of my "cute" name.
