All my battery chargers are old and worn. What is on the market for a portable, 12-volt, around a 30-amp charger for race usage?

Larry, The best there is comes from Interactor, made in the USA, who also private labels their charger for Moroso and Rock

Now on the Rock website they show a 2nd generation AGM charger. They don't show the Rock charger that looks like the Interacter charger. Now I wonder who makes the 2nd generation charger?

not Rock, it's a branding company not a manufacturer

FYI, Total Power is a marketing company not a manufacturer of batteries or chargers

Does fast charging affect the life of an AGM battery? I realize that its a necessity for going rounds or hot-lapping, just curious about battery life when doing it.

Define “fast charging”
My 16 volt batteries go on the charger after every pass. The charge rate is over 20 amps initially with the water pump and fan running to cool down and my batteries are 4 years old.

The charger is microprocessor controlled so it bases the charge rate on the batteries state of charge.

I bought this last summer. I wanted the Moroso, but it was out of stock everywhere. Called Interacter and he didn’t have the parts to build chargers at the time. Not sure if that’s changed. I’ve been happy with the RTD charger. Plus it’s about $200 cheaper than the Moroso/Interacter and still made in the USA. Associated builds them.
