Always had good luck with the 12v Red tops (2), but want to try 12v or 16v Lithium. Brand? Weight? Thanks, Ron. Sorry this should be in Tech

We've run Braille B3121 (AGM) in our cars for several years but swapped out to a Braille G30 Lithium early last year. Starts the car great, cold or hot. Charges very quickly. This is in a '68 Camaro 396 Stocker. They sell it as a combo, which includes the charger. Oh, dropped from 21 to 5.5 lbs.

I have been using the Go Lithium 16v for 6-7 years. I get about 3 seasons from a battery. The newer design battery seems to be much better than the first generation. Charge quick and work good. Weight is about 10 lbs with their mounting bracket. I use their charger as well.

I've been running a class lately where I don't really need to take weight out.
But years ago,I tried that battery.I had good luck with it.It saved a lot of weight and it isn't nearly as expensive as some of the other options. |
