Ed each car is differant. The more Hp the less it changes....(example) dad's 6cyl nova 130lbs will change it .15 1/8th mile! However his pure stock car it's about a .10 1/4mile.....the Camaro "bracket car" we have it's .07 to .08 1/4mile.....(I use 130 as that is the differance between dad & I )

it also depends on where the weight is removed from, and how it changes the way the car reacts, but if the short times are the same then I agree with the 1/10th per 100# comment...
I know when I dropped 300# from the nose and middle of my car I picked up 4.5/10ths with almost 1/10th of that in the 60'... |
