Default 62-65 Nova rear wheel/tire size

Getting ready to start assembling my 64 Nova this winter. Want to know what 8” rim backspacing is used to maximize the very limited amount of space. I can slightly adjust the housing to get fitment perfect when I set it up. Would like to try to get the Mickey 29.5 small radials in there.

Good morning Chipper,
In my 1969 Nova I use Weld 15 x8" rims with a 6" back space.
Now I know the 1964 Nova Body is a little tighter in the wheel well area.
Anyone that runs a similar body should be able to give better incite. Those wheels were still available and maybe borrowing one will help. If not you may have to look into a " Custom back space" that you might have to order from someone like Bogart or one of the other Specialty wheel manufactures.

Respectfully,
