I just recieved sad news that Super Comp racer, Mike Moniz's father, Joe Moniz, passed away this wekend while at the Dutch Classic. ... Joe, and his wife Bernice are two of the nicest people I've ever met, always in good spirit and really having a good time racing with their son....... I believe Joe was 80 years old, but it didn't show, he had a hand shake that everyone who knew him will remember fondly. ... My sincere condolences to Mike and Bernice. .......... Tom & Kathy

Joe was a great guy. I met him and his wife at Atco a few years ago and they made you feel like family. He will surely be missed. God's speed Joe. My condolences to Bernice and Mike, our prayers are with you both.

Mike,
I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. It's never easy, even though your dad lived a full life. It will get easier, but you'll just have to give it a little time. My thoughts are with you. Hang tough...

Mike & Bern,
I'm so sorry to hear about Joe. We were just hugging each other at the starting line when you won your rounds at the Dutch. What a wonderful man! He will be sorely missed! Call me if there is anything we can do to help. Lynn & Tom |
