requirement to claim a car is another year

What is required to claim a car to be another year? I can only see the grill must be correct for year .engine ,carb also. example 68 to 72 Novas/Acadians.

An oddity would be AMC Spirit made from 79 to 83 all the same . AMC did not register cars after 79 ,so they cannot run stock. Thanks

Go to page 6 on this forum: Claiming a different yr in stock. Many questions will be answered and confusion will follow......I have a 70 Nova which inspired me to ask same ? Good luck

The 79 to 83 AMC Spirit can be resolved, only need someone from Mopar to submit the paperwork that its carryover specifications.
