Amazing; they actually showed the final rounds of Stock, Super Stock, and a couple of others. I was really shocked, usually zip through the Fuel on the DVR watch Pro Stock Camaro (not sure why, force of habit I guess, still waiting to see a Dart or Mustang or Camry with Elite power) and they started showing some Sportsman racing. Very cool, now they just need to rein in the Fuel Circus (1/8 mile? Institute the old Garlits proposals from decades ago?) but if they truly did sell out on Sat and Sun theres not much chance of change. On to Gainesville and the first 7 second "stocker" if it doesn't happen before at Belle Rose or Gainesville Divisional.

I was there Saturday and it was hard to see an empty seat then when the nitro cars ran. I have no trouble believing they sold out on Sunday.

Yes, that was pretty cool. Even my "casual fan" wife noted that is was neat to see the Sportsman Finals.

Very good to see more sportsman coverage. They used to show all the sportsman finals years ago, I believe.

Diamond "P" Sports used to give the sportsman coverage. Even some interviews from time to time.

Absolutely!! Super Cool, great to see FOX doing this, and glad to see folks on CR posting some positive vibes for the TV coverage, and the sport in general.

You mean my moderate griping about FS1 on the Pomona thread actually paid off??? Wow. Didn't know I had that much pull!
I was away for the weekend and couldn't watch Phoenix this time, but if I had seen these Sportsman finals come on at home, I would have been first in line to hand out kudos on here. Thank you FS1 for what was displayed on the telecast. Keep it coming.
