Super Stock GT used to be old motor/new body but that was changed (I guess) a few years ago to go the other way as well. When Gene Bichlmeyer runs GT with the old Nova, which motor is he running? Also, there was a '55 Chevy from the Northwest running GT recently, what motor does he have?? I think he does run some SS/N sometimes, which tells me he has a 265, but what does he have as a GT? Thanks!

they are claiming an engine from a different model year, thats not the same year as there body style. For instance they maybe claiming a 63 or 64 model biscayne that has a 283 but they are running it in a 66 chevy II

I looked at the 55 a few weeks ago and I believe its a 57 283/220 because it still has the same looking WCFB as the SS motor did, but he can run a 4 speed now. Im sure about the 283/220 but not about the year
