It seems that a lot of good things are happening for veterans and survivors. I even got an appointment and only 25 days....my primary care physician no longer takes my medicare insurance, so decided to go to the VA until I figure it out. I had no intentions of using the VA and still do not plan on using them for surgery, but, right now, I have no choice. So far, I am happy with the VA.

There is hope, the House just passed the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act of 2017 in a vote of 418-0. This bill will go a long way toward fixing a severely backlogged system that for too long has put bureaucracy ahead of the Veteran.
